Simon’s friendly, professional approach and his enthusiasm for the subjects he teaches makes him an excellent trainer. He is passionate about health and safety and turns what could be a very boring subject, into a very entertaining and fun experience!
He is proud to have won the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) Best Health and Safety Trainer Award for 2009 and Best Food Safety Trainer Award for 2010. Both he and Sue have enjoyed two visits to the Houses of Parliament where they received the awards for CIEH Best Training Centre for 2009 and 2010.
Fiona graduated with a law degree then went on to do a further teaching degree, locally at Gloucestershire College. She has over twenty years experience of delivering legally-based subjects including Health and Safety, Equality and Diversity and most recently the Hygiene in Health and Social Care. 
After leaving school Mel started work at Eagle Star in Cheltenham and quickly moved into the Facilities Management area which involved health and safety, staff welfare and building management. 
Carole has spent most of her working life in the NHS. She completed her Nurse training at Guy's Hospital and then went on to work as a Ward Sister both in the Army and in civilian hosptals before moving to Gloucestershire. She then completed District Nurse training and worked as a District Nurse in the Stroud Area and then as a Manager for the Community Services also in the Stroud Area.
Barry was a Retained Fire Officer with the Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service, in charge of Nailsworth Fire Station. He and his wife Tina also owned a printing company for over 30 years.
Martyn was a police officer before he retired after serving thirty years. During the latter part of his service, his specialist area was on the more extreme end of conflict management, both in the training environment and operationally.
Emma is a Chartered Civil Engineer and has spent 17 years working on construction sites both in the UK and overseas for main contractors. She started her career as a Site Engineer and has progressed through to positions from Site Manager to Contracts Manager. her most recent project was the new Tyne Crossing when she was working for Bouygyes Travaux Publics.
