Carole has spent most of her working life in the NHS. She completed her Nurse training at Guy's Hospital and then went on to work as a Ward Sister both in the Army and in civilian hosptals before moving to Gloucestershire. She then completed District Nurse training and worked as a District Nurse in the Stroud Area and then as a Manager for the Community Services also in the Stroud Area.
After retiring from the NHS, Carole then decided to move into training. She completed her teaching training certificate and took a position working for Gloucestershire College.

Carole has a BA (Hons) in Art and Psychology, is a NVQ assessor and verifier and a registered trainer with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and the Health and Safety Executive.
After living in Gloucestershire for many years, Carole's home is now near Ross on Wye in Hereford. She is married with two sons, four stepson and quite a few grandchildren!
Her hobbies include gardening, cooking, reading and walking her dog.
