Barry was a Retained Fire Officer with the Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service, in charge of Nailsworth Fire Station. He and his wife Tina also owned a printing company for over 30 years.
Having sold and then managed their business, Barry decided to change direction. Calling on his Fire Service experience and training, he re-trained as a First Aid and Fire Safety trainer and assessor.
Barry now runs his own business but also carries out training for Envesca .
His main hobby is DIY, he is currently building an extension to his cottage in Horsley, replacing windows, and with Tina’s eye for interior decorating, updating the décor.
