Emma is a Chartered Civil Engineer and has spent 17 years working on construction sites both in the UK and overseas for main contractors. She started her career as a Site Engineer and has progressed through to positions from Site Manager to Contracts Manager. her most recent project was the new Tyne Crossing when she was working for Bouygyes Travaux Publics.
Since 2009 Emma has been working as a Health and Safety trainer and consultant. She also works as a lecturer at Gloucestershire College on their HNC Engineering and Construction programmes.
Her life outside of work revolves around her three horses and two mad boxer dogs. She also enjoys trips to the theatre, shooting and walking.
