CIEH Level 2 Food Safety

Who Should Attend?

This course is designed for anyone working in a catering setting where food is prepared, cooked and handled.

The course is written in 11 modules, each containing clear learning and innovative games and tests designed to re-enforce the learners' understanding. The online syllabus can be completed in an average of 4 hours.

Please note that this course is also available in Mandarin and Cantonese.

The course covers the following subjects:

• Legislation
• Food safety and hygiene hazards
• Temperature control
• Refrigeration, chilling and cold holding
• Cooking, hot holding and reheating
• Food handling
• Principles of safe food storage
• Cleaning
• Food premises and equipment

 Assessment

At the end of the course there is a 20 question multi-choice test.  A certificate of completion is available for the learner to print off immediately.
