What’s It About?

This first aid at work requalification course will update your knowledge of first aid at work. It will also allow revision and practice sessions in preparation for a written assessment.

This course is perfect for anyone who currently holds a valid first aid at work certificate close to expiry.

Why’s It Important?

Having designated qualified first aiders in the workplace is a legal requirement. The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 state that employers should provide adequate and appropriate equipment and enough trained first aiders to help injured or ill staff.

Although accidents can be prevented, they can still occur, so it’s important to be prepared. Having adequately trained personnel will ensure that emergency situations are dealt with in a prompt and effective manner.

The First Aid at Work qualification is only valid for three years. Therefore before it expires, you have a legal obligation to ensure that you renew this qualification. If you don’t, you are putting everyone involved in your business at risk: your employees, customers, and visitors.
