Poeton Industries - Case Study

Founded in 1895, Poeton are the UK’s leading surface engineering specialists, providing a wide choice of surface coating, serving customers worldwide.

A person in a bright yellow shirt and black pants holds a white hard hat, standing against a backdrop where words like HIRARC, HAZARD, OFFICER, and SAFETY surround them in various shades of blue. It's an everyday scene at Poeton Industries, where safety is always prioritized.

Under the ‘Apticote’ trademark, Poeton Industries offer hard chrome and cadmium electroplating, electroless nickel, thermal spraying, anodising, plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO), polymer coatings and a range of specialist hybrid treatments that provide unique performance advantages.

Envesca has provided in-house health and safety training to Poeton Industries since 2012.   As an organisation Poeton recognise the importance of continually improving the health and safety culture within their business to ensure an ongoing commitment to enhanced safety throughout the company.

In addition, we have also run the IOSH Managing Safely course at Poeton’s site in Gloucester.  As well as learning all aspects of carrying out, managing and reviewing risk assessments, the course also brought all the candidates up to speed on the practical actions they need to take to handle health and safety in their teams.

Jan Hughes, Health and Safety and HR Manager, shares, “I always hear positive comments about the training you provide. It always has an impact on the way that the staff think about health and safety.”

What Poeton Industries have to say about us...
