Training FAQ's

Your Questions Answered About Our Training Services

To help you make your decision about booking your training with Envesca, we have put together a list of some of the more frequently asked questions.

In-House Training FAQs

Wherever our work takes us!  We have previously delivered training in Gibraltar and Norway!

There is no minimum number of candidates required, we are happy to train 1 to 1 should you wish.  With regard to the maximum number, this depends a little on the size of the training room you have available, but we normally say between 12 – 15, with the exception of first aid.  First Aid courses must have a maximum of 12 candidates.

We would require a suitable training room with tables and chairs. If we are running a first aid course the room would need to be large enough to accommodate the CPR floor work.  If you have equipment such as an LCD projector, screen, and flipchart that would be helpful, but not essential as our trainers are able to bring their own equipment.

The old Basic Food Hygiene course is now called the Level 2 Award in Food Safety.

Yes, all of our courses can be tailored to your company.  We will aim to refer to working examples within your business or industry.

The simple answer is Yes.  A one-day course could be delivered over two half day sessions, or a three-day course could be delivered over a three week period.

There are a number of ways in which we can help.  Some of the accredited courses that we deliver do have examinations  available in different languages and given sufficient notice these are provided at no additional cost.  We can also offer oral examinations, which means that the trainer would read the examination to the candidate on a one to one basis at the end of the course. Candidates are allowed to request a Reasonable Adjustment which allows them 25% additional time.  They are also permitted to bring a non-electronic dual language dictionary with them to the exam.

Yes, any of our courses can be delivered via Zoom or Teams.

With the exception of some of the Level 3 and Level 4 assignment based qualifications, the majority of our accredited courses are tested by multi-choice examinations.

When we deliver accredited courses, the multi-choice examinations have to be sent to the awarding body to be marked.  They normally inform us of the results via email within 7 – 10 days of receiving the paperwork.  Please be aware that this is not the case for courses that involve written examinations and assignments, these course results take approximately 2 – 3 weeks.

Arrangements can be made for any candidate to resit an examination without having to attend the whole course again.  There would be a small additional charge to do this to cover the cost of purchasing another examination from the awarding body. Please note there are time limitations for resists.

We understand that occasionally things happen out of your control and you may need to cancel or postpone a course.  In this event please could you email help@envesca.co.uk and we will do our best to help.
