Gain lifesaving first aid skills through flexible online eLearning combined with practical sessions led by accredited trainers. Meet workplace first aid legal requirements, save time and money, stay legally compliant, and build the confidence to respond effectively in real-life situations.
Blended learning is a training approach that combines the flexibility of online learning with the engagement of face-to-face classroom sessions. It brings together digital modules and in-person training to create a more complete and effective learning experience.
Candidates can build their first aid knowledge at their own pace online, then deepen their understanding through discussion, practical activities, and real-time support in the classroom.
The result is a balanced, interactive approach that maximises convenience, improves knowledge retention, and delivers a nationally recognised Qualsafe qualification, identical to the traditional classroom course.
The Qualsafe-accredited first aid courses we offer as blended learning courses are:
- Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work ( Traditionally one-day in the classroom but is reduced to a half day course when the eLearning element is completed).
- Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work ( Traditionally three days in the classroom but is reduced to a two day course when the eLearning element is completed).
- Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work Re-qualification ( Traditionally two days in the classroom but is reduced to a one day course when the eLearning element is completed).
- Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid ( Traditionally two days in the classroom but is reduced to a one day course when the eLearning element is completed).
How It Works
Our blended courses are designed to make training more convenient without compromising on quality or compliance.
1. Complete the Online eLearning Course.
Candidates start with the eLearning course that covers the theory elements of the qualification. This can be completed at a time and place that suits you, reducing time away from the workplace.
2. Attend a Practical Classroom Session.
Once the eLearning course is complete, the candidate attends a shorter, focused classroom session with one of our experienced trainers. This session concentrates on hands-on practical skills, assessments and scenario-based learning.
3. Assessment and Certification
At the end of the classroom training, candidates will take a short multiple-choice test. After successfully completing the eLearning course, the practical assessments and the short test, candidates will receive a nationally recognised Qualsafe certificate, fully compliant with HSE requirements.
Less Classroom Time
Because the theory is completed online, classroom time is reduced, minimising disruption to your business.
Greater Flexibility
Learners can complete the online element at their own pace, making it easier to fit training around busy schedules.
Nationally Recognised
Certification through Qualsafe Awards provides peace of mind that your training is accredited, regulated and fully compliant.
Practical Confidence
Face-to-face training sessions focus on real-life scenarios, ensuring candidates leave feeling confident and competent.
Engaging & Interactive
The e-Learning platform includes videos, knowledge checks and interactive activities to reinforce understanding before attending the practical session.
