What’s It About?
This half-day first aid at work annual refresher course will allow you to practice and refresh your knowledge and practical skills needed to deal with a range of first aid situations.
It is designed to help maintain skills and keep up-to-date with any changes in first aid procedures. It is designed to be taken at any time while your first aid certificate is valid.
What Will You Gain?
By attending this first aid at work annual refresher course, you will understand your role and responsibilities as a first aider in the workplace. Furthermore, you will understand the legal requirements for first aid provision.
On returning to the workplace, you will have the confidence to react quickly in response to an incident. Quickly administering the right level of first aid can often be the difference between life and death.
Who Should Attend?
This course is suitable for candidates who hold a current First Aid at Work certificate or a current Emergency First Aid at Work certificate.
Why’s It Important?
The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) recommends that you attend a first aid at work annual refresher course every year after receiving the First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work certificate. This keeps your skills sharp and up to date so you can act confidently in a first aid emergency.
