Gloucestershire’s Award Winning Fire Safety Course Training Experts
Fire Safety Course, Fire Marshal Training, Fire Warden Training, Fire Awareness Training – we do it all!
Every year, people die or are seriously injured as a result of a fire in the workplace. Fire costs businesses vast sums of money, sometimes causing them to close permanently. It’s vital that your premises meet fire safety regulations and that you ensure all your employees and visitors know what action to take in the event of a fire or an emergency.
The danger of losing your business should be incentive enough to ensure you meet fire safety requirements. Failing to do so can have serious legal consequences as well. The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires the responsible person (employer, occupier or owner) to take reasonable steps to reduce the risk from fire and ensure safe escape for both employees and visitors.
Fire Safety Training
You must ensure all employees receive regular fire safety training. In addition, you must appoint one or more “competent persons” to take on the responsibility as fire marshals or fire wardens and assist with fire safety in your workplace. These employees should be given sufficient fire safety training to ensure they are effective in reducing the risks from fire hazards.
Training your team in fire safety awareness is a smart thing to do and is a requirement of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
We know that people who attend a fire safety course are far more aware of the risks of fire and that, when they return to their workplace, implement changes to improve fire safety policies and procedures.
There is no doubt that effective training is the most effective way to improve fire safety within your business.

FREE Fire Door Checklist
Fire doors are an important safety feature of any building in which people work or visit as they offer resistance to the spread of fire and smoke, limiting its effect.
They are particularly important elements of fire protection and, as such, you should ensure regular checks of the fire doors on your premises and monitor their condition for effective operation.
To help you in your regular inspections, we have created a fire door checklist on what you need to look for when checking fire doors.
