What’s It About?
According to government statistics, there are 15,000 fires in workplaces and places where people gather in England every year. That’s 40 fires a day.
The costs associated with fire are significant, from physical costs, including the destruction of property, loss of income and increased insurance premiums, to immeasurable, profound costs, including loss of life, severe injury and reputational damage.
However, fire is preventable.

This Fire Safety Awareness eLearning course outlines how a fire starts and spreads, through to risk assessments and managing risk, and outlining the legal obligations of different people in the workplace and their roles and responsibilities relating to fire safety.
