The Orchard Trust - Case Study
Orchard Trust is an independent registered charity that provides a wide range of integrated services to meet the needs of people with learning disabilities in Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas.
The Orchard Trust prides itself on the standard and quality of the training they provide its staff. Their achievement of an Investors in People Gold Award underlines the value they place on their employees. The trust has 180 employed and bank staff who all require mandatory training to be safe and proficient in their workplace and comply with Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations.
When choosing a training provider to provide food safety training for all the staff, Orchard Trust looked for a company that would train their staff to a “gold standard” every time. They had to meet key criteria, including the training provider’s quality and a good value for money service. The company also had to have a proven track record for reliability and friendliness. Envesca met every criteria and now provides food safety training regularly.
Wendy Bolton, the Orchard Trust’s Training Manager, shared, “The team at Envesca are flexible and adaptable when we need them to be, and they support us at every stage. We have developed an excellent relationship with both the training and office staff.
“Our staff are actually enthusiastic before attending the courses as they have already received great feedback from colleagues who have already completed their training.
Everyone speaks highly about the training and the trainer.
“In addition, our workplace managers have far more confidence knowing that their staff have the skills and competencies to carry out their roles in a safe and proper way.”
