Blue Earth Foods - Case Study
Blue Earth Foods Ltd is a major supplier of chilled seafood products to leading retailers throughout the United Kingdom and Europe.
Envesca has been providing training to the company since October 2013, including Level 2 and Level 3 Awards in Food Safety in Food Manufacturing, HACCP for Food Manufacturing and Effective Auditing and Inspection Skills.
As well as food safety training, Envesca has also provided training in Negotiation Skills and Leadership Skills.
The continuous growth of both the business and its premises in the West Midlands resulted in a need for restructuring and promotion within the company. This, in turn, highlighted an additional need for management and leadership training. One of the key requirements of the restructuring process was that Blue Earth Foods wanted to empower its leaders by giving them more staff responsibility.
They couldn’t provide the training themselves due to a lack of knowledge, skills and resources. So they asked Envesca also to train their staff to work together as teams rather than individually to empower them to take responsibility for their actions in the workplace.
Mark Oliver, HR Manager, shares, “I have received nothing but positive feedback about the training provided by Envesca. Today the results show for themselves.”
“The additional training has ensured more effective communication between leaders and their teams. In addition, team leaders within the company are now managing problems themselves instead of leaving the management to deal with them.”
What Blue Earth Foods have to say about us...
"Staff have now started to take responsibility for their actions and are keen to share and implement new ideas. "
